Participant Agreement, Release of Liability, and Informed Consent
1. Voluntary Participation & Scope of Activity
I hereby agree to voluntarily participate in remote (via Zoom or other digital platforms) and in-person sessions, classes, educational seminars, workshops, and gatherings (collectively, the "Activities") led by Jennifer Lauren Burkhart, designated guest facilitators, or affiliated practitioners. I acknowledge that my participation is entirely willful, and I represent that I am of sound body and mind to make this decision.
2. Non-Medical Disclaimer
I understand that the therapies, techniques, and educational guidance provided during these Activities are strictly intended for the purpose of integrated, whole-body health, personal transformation, and relaxation. I acknowledge that Jennifer Lauren Burkhart and any guest facilitators are not licensed physicians, psychologists, or medical practitioners, and the Activities do not constitute professional medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or psychiatric prescription. These services are not a replacement for standard medical or psychological care, and I agree to consult a licensed healthcare professional for any physical or mental health ailments.
3. Participant Autonomy & Right of Refusal
I recognize that I am fully responsible for my own physical, mental, and emotional welfare before, during, and after the Activities. I understand that I retain complete sovereign agency over my healing process, reserving the active right to modify, accept, or reject any information, therapy, somatic suggestion, or technique presented. Furthermore, I retain the absolute right to withdraw my participation from any session, class, or gathering at any time without penalty.
4. Assumption of Risk
I understand that engaging in deep-dive wellness, physical movement, and holistic healing modalities involves inherent risks, both known and unknown, which may result in physical discomfort, emotional processing, or psychological distress. I voluntarily, knowingly, and fully assume all risks of harm, injury, or discomfort that may arise from my participation, whether attended remotely or in person.
5. Release of Liability & Covenant Not to Sue
In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Activities, I hereby release, waive, forever discharge, and hold harmless Jennifer Lauren Burkhart, guest facilitators, hosting venues (including Winwood and its property management), and their respective agents, heirs, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to any bodily injury, emotional distress, or personal damage sustained while participating remotely, on the property grounds, or thereafter.
6. Personal Property Waiver
I further agree that the Released Parties are not liable or responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction to personal belongings, valuables, electronic equipment, or vehicles parked on or situated about the premises during or after the Activities.
7. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable under applicable local or state law, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of the remaining terms, which shall continue in full legal force and effect.
